Componet Fails to Finnish 2 Years, 3 Months ago
I am working on starting to use this clone tool and wanted to update my Joomla install first. So I downloaded your JoomlaPlug and I have been working the past couple of hours trying to figure out why I can not get past a problem with what appears to be a permission problem.

I checked the permissions for the public_html folder and they are already set to 777. I even chown the files to insure the proper ownership.

I also used Cpanel to look for the file in reference below and it was not there. So I even went to Joomla site and copied it there and still no go.

JoomlaPlug Automatic Installer!
Install Joomla software on the fly!!!

Unable to open for writing file /home/arcardea/public_html/Upgrade Joomla_1.0.8_to_1.0.11-Stable-Patch_Package.zip

Hey there! It seems that the folder where you are trying to install Joomla is not writeable

/home/arcardea/public_html/Upgrade

you need to chmod it to 777!

If it still fails i would suggest you try the JoomlaDesktop tool also!

There is no folder been created called upgrade. Also the permision as I mentioned on the Public_html is set right now to 777. The only thing that I have been able to fiure out is in your demo video in the example you have a dedicated folder for the Joomla install under the Public_html. I do not because I want the install in the root of the site.

But either way I have the folder set to 777.

Any other ideas as I am at a complete loss and stop until I can figure this out.

What problems did you encounter with the "Destop tool"? This should despite the permissions problem, because it's uploading files through ftp in the indicated ftp path!
