JoomlaPlug!

My first attemp to install Joomla 1.0.15, downloaded zip file and transfer to the remote server, since direct download did not work due to corrupt file..
Then I select second option "Joomla existing local Joomla packages - checking existing directory"
When I click Sart Install. I get the error "Could not continue, unable to read the archive file" that is why I got stuck..

Can anyone help me to install this? I will really appreciate this

I suggest you try our JoomlaDesktop tool which cane be downloaded from here JoomlaDesktop can be downloaded from here

Thanks, working on it now.. downloaded JoomlaDesktop, installed it, launched, prompted me for ftp user/pwd, and it took off transfering files (80%) now.. where it got these files, no idea. I was never asked of the install package.. Looks like a black box to me. anywhere, I will see what it is soon..

Yes, JoomlaDesktop http://www.joomlaplug.com/Tools/JoomlaStart/JoomlaDesktop_Joomla_Installer.html is a windows based installer which has the Joomla core files inside it!
