Problems Completing install 5 Years, 4 Months ago  
I tried using this desktop installer and ran into some snags. The installer appeared to upload all the Joomla files. However, after that it went to a Joomla pre-installation and this is where the problems appear to begin.

The configuration.php file is unwritable I don?t see the file in the public_htm at this point in the install for it to even be writeable.



The register global emulation is set to on instead of off. But no place does the install check tell me how to change this.

mambots/system/ claims to not be writable either I looked at the fill in CPanel File Manager and it shows that it is writeable 777

I must be doing something wrong
