using joomla windows installer 1 Year, 2 Months ago  
Greetings! I'm using windows XP with the elemen IIS to server pages! I'm also using a fowarder outside my computer to redirect page when it's called from the web! I'm redirecting thru the router! Iv'e tried many times to install joomla, but it says that i must enter the install URL!
I've allready tried to put 127.x.x.x my internal ip, external ip, localhost etc. but nothing let it move on! What can i do?
Please help me!

Hi there! Since you are on localhost, i advise to simply get the latest version of Joomla, extract all files inside your web directory then simply open that location in your browser like http://localhost/my_install_dir and follow the onscreen install instructions!
