Joomlacloner shows blank 7 Months, 2 Weeks ago  
For some reason my Joomla cloner stop working. I go to generate a backup and it just shows a white screen. I have to log back into my site to use it again. I uninstall and reinstall the software and it still shows blank. Any idea of why this is happening? The attachment is how my backend looks after I try to generate a backup.

Hi there! Please open a support ticket and send us your Joomla admin details and url to check the issue! As you using "Manual backup" option set to Yes in your JoomlaCloner Config?

I browsed through this forum and I found out that the "blank screen" is a common problem with JoomlaCloner.

Can I make a suggestion? Instead of asking them to open support ticket and asking them to send you their Joomla admin details and URL, can't you just post a step by step diagnosis and propose a solution on how to remedy that common error? Though your solution adds some personal touch to the support service, it benefits only those who send in their Joomla admin details. Since the error seem to be a common problem, the solution should be posted as a common reference (and maybe add it to a future documentation).

Just my suggestion.

...'coz I too am getting that blank screen when I attempt to make a full backup. All the minor details you proposed didn't work on me.

The blank screen error is a problem that can be caused by multiple facts, this is why we ask the user to let us investigate and to save time!

Anyway, if you like to diagnose yourself, here is what you should try:

1. backup the database and files separately
2. exclude any large directories you might have on your site and include them in a separate backup
3. run a repair query on your database to check for corrupted tables
4. make sure you meet the JoomlaCloner Requirements page
