Joomla.Cloner.php on line 1021 4 Months, 1 Week ago
Hi Ovidiu,

it's me after quite a time again. I have been successful with all my backup restaurations the last weeks. Today I did everything as I did it before, but now I got this:

"Warning: fopen(C:/Programme/xampp/htdocs/BuchProjekt//administrator/backups/perm.txt) [function.fopen]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in C:\Programme\xampp\htdocs\BuchProjekt\Joomla.Cloner.php on line 1021
Could not set permissions! Permissions file C:/Programme/xampp/htdocs/BuchProjekt//administrator/backups/perm.txt not found!

Files succesfully copied to C:/Programme/xampp/htdocs/BuchProjekt/
Configuration updated!

Please click here to continue with database import..."

There is nothing but an empty configuration.php. And of course I cannot import any database.

I have been studying the other threads about this subject but couldn't find anything that helped me: I generated different backup files, downloaded them by ftp and compared the size of the files on my server and on my local computer...

Backup Settings: Manual Backup - No; Archive Type - TAR; Server-Functions - TAR and ZIP active;

Restore Settings:Restore File Permissions - Yes; Using Server Functions Unzip/Untar - Yes; Install files directly;

What I have to say is, that I changed three php.ini-files on my local xampp server, to get an another application running. But I have changed this back again and it didn't make any difference.

I am looking forward to hear from you
Martin

Since you are on a local computer, are you able to open your backup archive with an archive software? Also, check if the size matches the backup archive from the original site

Let me know how it goes! Ovidiu

I could open the backup file without any problem. File size is exactly the same on the server.

Ok, then i suggest you manually extract the backup archive on your restore location and retry the restore process

Hi Ovidiu,

it gives the same result. But I restored the backup file in a subdomain on my webserver and everything went fine again. So the problem with my local server must have been caused by the application I mentioned above. We will have to face this when I move my site to a new streaming server, so that I can use this software. It's a streaming software called Jinzora and runs as a stand alone version or as a component with Joomla. But in this case I will be able to sent you the URL and Login data, if the moving causes problems. Thanks so far.
