Is there any simple solution to this problem with automatic cloning? I'm trying to clone the site between one account and another with the same host - Bluehost.
I've checked all the ftp details and they look ok - is there something I'm missing?

Hi there! You need to recheck your ftp path and make sure it's correct for the provided ftp details, from that message it seems it isn't, so i suggest to use a ftp client to determine the right ftp path to the restore location

The problem is that I've already tried all possible ftp paths... with and without "/" at the start and end...

/home/xxx/public_html/mydirectory
home/xxx/public_html/mydirectory
home/xxx/public_html/mydirectory/
/public_html/mydirectory/
public_html/mydirectory/
/public_html/mydirectory
public_html/mydirectory

etc... but nothing works.

Does the error message definitely suggest it is the destination path I've got wrong? I've also tried all possible variations of the upload path too - but at best I just get slightly different error messages - line 483 and 446.

Could it be to do with Bluehost as I see someone had a similar problem -but didn't say how they resolved it. except by manual upload?

I'm using JCloner not Xcloner. Some months ago I mastered the art of manual transfers using Xcloner - but I've forgotten it all now...

Have you tried setting "Ftp transfer mode" to Passive in your JoomlaCloner Config->System tab?

If it still fails, you will need to move the backup and restore script manually to the new location as specified in our Restore FAQ here http://www.joomlaplug.com/component/option,com_simplefaq/Itemid,56/task,display/catid,26/ and continue the restore process from there
