No I always do my restores in a clean, newly created directory. That is why I am so perplexed!

As far as the files deleting themselves you are probably correct. I had quite a few beers last night and could have forgot about deleting them.


But there is no way that I moved a copy of all my backups into the correct sub-directory, by accident I am going to do this again, soon and double check what is going on.

No! Absolutely not! I always do my restores in a brand new, clean from scratch directory! The old directory for the site is still there!



As far as the deleted 3 files you are probably right I probably deleted them and forgot about it.

But no way did I accidentally put 15 files into a sub directory and forget about it. I will clone the site again some where else soon and see what happens when I do.
