JoomlaPlug!

I am having a problem using this component with PHP5 adn Joomla 1.0.10. When I click on "Generate Backup" the component pauses and asks me if I want to download the index2.php.

I noticed another post with a similar issue, but the tread didn't list the fix. Your assistance is greatly appreciated.

In my earlier post, I stated that I received the I got the error (prompt to download index.php (blank) when I clicked Generate backup. The error actually shows when clicking "next" after "Generate backup." Sorry for any confusion.

Also, when I view/download backup files, it only shows a partial backup (with crc error).

I had my provider (siteground.com) take a look, and they said they thought I would have to possibly downgrade to PHP4?! I really hope he was wrong to make this component work.

You responses are VERY appreciated. I've got to get this install moved ASAP.

As i have checked it seems that the problem is from the siteground memory_limit they have set for your account! Because of the large amount of files to be included in the backup, over 200M of data, php will need a little more memory to handle a fullbackup!

You will need to contact siteground to increase the memory_limit of your account, as they seem to control this per clients requests!

However a full backup seems to get generated, beside that error message!

I finally got this resolved.

I had to create the php.ini in the web site root with the following information (at siteground).

safe_mode = Off
max_execution_time = 3600
memory_limit = 64M
upload_max_filesize = 100M
