Hello

When I try to generate a backup, the archive only include the .sql file. No file from Joomla site.
Of course, I didn't exclude any file !

Maybe a clue : I see in the backup directory a big file with no extension and a strange name (zi4wHmE or something)

It seems that the server process is stoped before it finishes! Try to uncheck the Activate checkbox near the 'Server utilies' in Configuration, also try exclude large directories and see how it goes also!


Also try to increase your memory_limit and max_execution_time from your php.ini file if you get a blank screen, more info here http://www.joomlaplug.com/component/option,com_simplefaq/Itemid,56/!

Not sure if you are using the updated version of the component, but try to use also the TAR type and see how that goes! Ovidiu

OK, excluding one large directories (downloads section) solved the problem. Thanks a lot.

As i have read on php.net, this seems to be a bug within php 4 and 5 versions, hope they fix it on the next release!
