Hi,

I installed jcron and in the configuration i have enabled cron run, Active email logs and enable database logs.

While adding a new cron i want it to be a web address ex: http://www.domain.com/components/com_maillist/maillist.php. I tried it to configure it for various time schedules including every 5 min option. but nothing is happening. I checked my server config for exec and other settings ant it all seems to be ok. Can u pls tell me where am i gng wrong??

If anyone can send me the steps, it would be great.

Hi there! What is the command you are using for running the cron? Is it a web link or a ssh command?

Is php.ini variable allow_url_fopen enabled(=ON) on your system?

Ok, then do you have activity in your site frontpage? The cron will only run if there is activity on frontpage, also i presume you correctly enabled it from the JCron configuration area?
