It should work now, as we checked we discovered the tmp path setup in your Joomla Global Config was not setup right; fixing that also fixed the installation process

Just tried to install V1.4 the component on Joomla 1.5.10.
Same issue as described for 1.3 seen. With several other components installing without issues.
Temp directory in working order.
Solution:
- unzip the delivered file
- copy the install directory from the /admin sub-directory to the root of the component directory
- rezip the complete component
- install from new zip file
Everything is cool.

We've been doing the package assembly on Joomla 1.5.14!

Anyway, thanks for sharing this, i will keep an eye on it, the manifest.xml inside the component seems defined correctly as per Joomla documentation
