Framing external content in a pop-up 4 Months, 1 Week ago
Hi

Just trying out this pop-up. Want to use it to pop banner ads specific to different page content. I'm currently testing it by using http://www.google.ie within the tags. The popup appears but just displays the url text, not the actual page.

Any ideas on what I'm dooing wrong?

Do you have a url where I can see the popup? How exactly are you planning on loading that page inside the popup? My guess is that you could use some iframe html tag( http://www.w3schools.com/TAGS/tag_iframe.asp ), have you tried that?

That was just a test url. If the popup works, I plan on using it to load a small popup graphic with affiliate tracking code.

As i suspected, you did not use any html code to render that page, simply putting a url inside the jpopup code won't trigger any page load, it will simply appear as text!

Try and put this code inside yout html source of that content page:

Code:

<iframe src='http://google.ie' width=200 height=200></iframe>
