-start install

-I clic in 'launch joomla installer';
that clic goes to "http://mysite/joomla/installation/" but
that screen said:

Forbidden
You don't have permission to access /joomla/installation/ on this server.

I have aplicated permison 777 to joomla folder but the ftp software said me:

Apache/2.0.46 (Red Hat) Server at www.ccaf.net Port 80

550 CHANGELOG.php: Operation not permitted


What can I do?

I think you have some problems with permissions, could you try the ftp mode?

I try change permison from ftp mode (..i use 'smart FTP' software) but, the ftp say:

550 changelog.php: operattion not permitted

suggestion: Can you create a flash/video about instalation joomla plug from online/manual method??, so, we can view step by step the correct instalation. (..., persons how I, that dont speak english very good, can view a real instalation of joomlaplug

I think your server most likelly runs in SAFE_MODE which will result in some install problems!

Disabling safe_mode will determine the script to run corectly!
