Could Joomla.Start handle .tar.gz files? 5 Years, 6 Months ago
Hi, your component is fatastic! It saves me time and tedious task from doing over and over.

1. I wonder if you could suggeshow a way (altering the code)that would allow me to handle file gzipped via the intermediate step of creating a tar-file (the final extension of the compressed file is filename.tar.gz).

I gzip my installation under Unix using tar.exe and gzip.exe plus the command line commands.

Your current code looks for a file created in one step with an extension filename.gz.

2. Is there a way to include an option to upload local package. Currently the LOCAL package roll down list refers to the install folder of the tartget site. I mean by local, the PC.

Thanks.
