Worked but created a file undeletable! 5 Years, 6 Months ago  
Hi, menaged to zip my installation and used Joomla.Start to migrate it to another account.

However, in addition to my joomla.zip file it created this file of the same size of my joomla file

.pureftpd-rename.3040.b02ade76

that cannot be deleted!

I tried again. I got further this time. The above file was not created but the process of direct file transfer obviously got halted prematurely, because the tranferred file ended up being smaller than the original.

The Joomla.Start program did not return indicating the the transfer was complete, however in the stus bar there was an idication, that readind from the dev... site was DONE.

Hi there! That temporary file is created during the ftp download, so if the transfer stops that files won't get to the correct size! A solution would be to move the archive you have manually in the same directory as Joomla.Start.php and then just select it from the local drop down box area!
