Main Menu Missing from Admin Interface 5 Years, 4 Months ago  
Hello all, and thanks for any help you can give.

I installed Joomla 1.0.12 this week on a new site, using cPanel and Fantastico. My host offers no specific support for Joomla, so I'm hoping someone here might have a sense for what's gone wrong.

This is my first time using Joomla, but I'm familiar with Mambo, so I know that in the administrator interface there should be a series of menu items "Home | Site " Menu | Content | etc.) But it simply isn't there. (Sort of a crucial omission.)

I have no idea what is wrong. Installation appeared to go smoothly. Any hunches?
