cannot Install Joomla Online 1 Year, 6 Months ago  
I've downloaded files Joomla.Start.php, etc. from current site to the appropriate directory.
Then went to Install Joomla Online page and set url, ftp, login, password and folder where joomla should be installed. Properties of this folder is 777 as required. But next message is displayed: FTP connection has failed...

Please provide more info to install joomla online.

Hi there! The problem seems to be that the ftp connect details you provided are not correct, so you need to recheck them! Also make sure the server ftp address is correct, should be something like ftp.domain.com or just domain.com!

If you still have problems, i would suggest you try the other restore method called "Install files directly"

Thx for answer.

I provided correct password, login and ftp name (I use txyz.mysite.adiungo.com) that I use when connect via ftp. Moreover I repeat installation few times but problem is still reproducible.
Maybe cause of subdomain...

So.. I still have the same problem. Could u explain how to Install files directly. Steps...

Next to the ftp options there is a box called "Install the files directly:", click on the circled box under that text! With this option checked, you won't need to provide any ftp details, just hit Submit!

Hi!
I'm on page http://www.joomlaplug.com/joomla_install_online/
and there is no "Install the files directly:" function here.
Next message is displayed: Upload is failed!

I still want to install Joomla...
