JoomlaPlug!

Hi. I'm trying to use the Desktop Installer, but when I plugin the web server settngs, it's telling me: "a folder 'ipf-work-dir-1170645283' has been created, but cannot be found on the web server. Please adjust the URL so it points to the location of the package installer and try again."

I'm trying to set this up on a MediaTemple server. I've set up Joomla/Mambo many times before without any problems, but this one is being problematic.

I decided to use the installer because a manual install kept resulting in database errors with tables that don't exist.

Help? Please?

Hi there! Usually that error means that the url you are entering as the path for your new Joomla install is not correct, or at least is not in concordance with the ftp path you entered! Try and recheck those value!
Also, login to the ftp of your site and see if you can find in your specified ftp path this direcotry "ipf-work-dir-1170645283" created and if it has any content in it!
