Hi again,

On the Roundcubeforum there is a patch for DirectAdmin-servers to change the password. I can't get it to work unfortunatly. The instruction says:

# Open: program/include/main.inc
#

# Find: (line: 1227)

// USER SETTINGS

# After add:

'userpasswd' => 'rcmail_passwd_form',

But when I look for this part i can't find this.

Just wanted to know if there is a chnge password update for roundcube for joomla component.

Unfortunately the password patch will only work for cpanel servers, IMAP passwords can't be changed through the service protocol!

I will see if i can make a post on how to apply this patch individually and provide a simple guide to do this, however this won't be included in the component install as default!

My server is cpanel 10.

I've done it.
I edited all the patched files and adapted them to work with Joomla.
Now i can change the password.

Here are the files.

PS: I've seen all kinds of problems when sef is on in joomla. If you or anyone is using a sef component for joomla, take a look on one option called "ALL LOWERCASE". Set it to NO. Also set your sef component to "SKIP" roundcube.
