Greetings,

I am running JCron on a GoDaddy, shared server and I keep getting an error message when running the cron task. It's trying to execute an Acajoom task. I have tried many different variations and they all seem to return the same type of error given below:

Does this mean there is an error? I have tried many different URLs and SSH/WEB combs and nothing seems to work. Any ideas? getting pretty discouraged with this one.

Hi there! This is not an error message, however the cron command you are running might not be the correct one, could you attach here some screenshots from your cron manager to see how you configured them?

Thanks for the help Ovidiu.

As you can see from the image I am taking shots in the dark.

The cron_job.php file contains the code below. The file sits in the root directory. It was a suggestion from the Acajoom forum but I keep getting an &quot;Unable to open&quot; error.

Ok, the unable to open error must be related to the &quot;Web Address&quot; task type

Now, when you use the &quot;SSH command&quot; task type you need to use a ssh command and not just the url, so try any of these commands and see how it goes:

links url
lynx url
wget url

The &quot;wget url&quot; method completely freaked out the server. I recieved about 200 emails and there were about 200 &quot;people&quot; logged into the site.

The other two seem to do nothing. Although, Acajoom has no way --that I can tell-- to debug or tell if it's even working. Is there anyway to verify that the Cron task is actually running?
