JoomlaPlug!

Hello,
I have downloaded the trial version. However, when I try to restore on my new server, I get the following error:
The encoded file /home/DOMAINNAME/public_html/Joomla.Cloner.php is not permissioned for XX.XX.XX.92.

Which means I am therefore unable to test the cloning software to a different server. Can you help please?

Hi there1 If you registered the trial for www.domain.com , then you need to access your Joomla backend from that address and not just http://domain.com

If you still have problems, register a trial for the ip you have there XX.XX.XX.92.

I registered for a trial at domain.com. - On a particular public IP address. I want to move the domain (and website) to a different server (I.e a different public IP address). - The domain.com website will then be hosted on this new server with a new IP address. - but the trial version doesn't seem to like this?

Also, should I already have installed joomla, PHP, mysql etc (and DB's created) on my new server? or will the restore do all the installtions for me?

The restore script will restore also the Joomla files, so all you need to do is copy the restore script and backup to a clean directory and start the restore process!

As a note, the trial version of JoomlaCloner only works for one domains, the one you registered it for!

Hi, I've just purchased a licensed copy and I still get the same error message when trying to open the joomla.cloner.php file from the new server. ANy idea why?

My username is different because when I tried to purchase the licence it would not let me use my existing 'kipnae' username.
