Minor bugs + Mosets Tree problem 1 Year ago
Bugs: I transfer both the database and the Joomla site the first time I clone. But after that, the new site is missing a lot of graphics. I then retransfer the site (not the database) and that fixes it. But then, I have to manually change the database name under Config because it uses the original.

Major problem: my Mosets Tree data doesn't transfer correctly. I get:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_VARIABLE, expecting &#039' in .../administrator/components/com_mtree/mfields.class.php(186) : eval()'d code on line 26
Fatal error: Cannot instantiate non-existent class: mfieldtype_corename in ...administrator/components/com_mtree/mfields.class.php on line 133

Questions are: Why do I have to transfer twice? Why doesn't it automatically change the database name to the 'new' one? And most importantly, how can I get the Mosets Tree data to transfer without errors?

I have Cloner 1.9.2, Joomla 1.0.13, and Mosets Tree 2.03

You don't have to do the transfer twice, however you need to check you r restore screen, were all the details for the second restore the same as on the first one?

If so, were the restore messages the same? The restore process goes it 2 steps, first the files are restored and you get a success message, then the database is imported and you get a second message!

If your configuration details were not updated on the first restore, then you might have a files restore issue!

If you like, open a support ticket and send us your restore ftp+mysql details to have a look at the restore process

I've gone thru the process many times with different domains. Cloner 1.9.2 requires that I transfer twice and it does not change the mySQL name, while Cloner 1.5.1 does not have this problem.

However, my important problem is with Mosets Tree... do you have any ideas?

As we speak, in trying to get this to work, one of the cloning operations failed and now I may have lost the site I was trying to backup. Very bad news for me and my client. Please help with the Mosets Tree error because I do have the site backed-up sucessfully with only the Mosets glitch left.
