After a battle I managed to get roundcube installed and working BUT all I have is a plain text structure - no nice skin.



Clearly not as pretty as others I have seem.

Can anyone help with configuration of the skin - I assume it must be something easy.

The issue you have could be related to a permissions issue on the components/com_roundcube directory(if you are using the Roundcube for Joomla component), what i suggest is you apply 755 permissions on all folders and 644 on all files inside that directory

A url will also help for your location to figure the issue! Ovidiu

permissions OK.

Could it be an SEF problem? I have been running JPromoter which does seem to cause problems here and there. Maybe the link to the default skin is broken although in the config it looks ok.

The wrapper url you are using there is incorrect, the correct roundcube access url is http://mysite.com/index.php?option=com_roundcube

Thank you for advice ref using correct URL in wrapper. Your speed of answering questions / providing help is excellent.

Anyway, this worked fine for a short and I was able to log in and look at emails etc but now I have login error. Nothing has changed in configuration. I can load the webmail client on my 1and1 server which is a duplicate so the username and password are OK. I'm stumped!

Can you help?
