Still don't see updated versions.... 4 Months, 3 Weeks ago
Let me start off by saying I love your extensions. XCloner absolutely rocks, and JoomlaStart makes install a breeze.

I'm frustrated though because I've downloaded JoomlaStart from the joomlacode site and the latest version available is 1.0.12

Where's 1.0.13, 1.0.14, and the stable release of 1.5? I've attached a pic of the installer so you can see what I mean.

PLEASE HELP...I LOVE THIS UTILITY AND WANT TO USE IT!!!!!

Hi there! You should download the updated version of the ver.txt file from here http://www.joomlaplug.com/files/ver.txt and replace the existing one from your Joomla.Start.php directory

This is what I get:

QUOTE:
Warning: fopen() [function.fopen]: URL file-access is disabled in the server configuration in /home/xxx/xxx/williamson.one7media/Joomla.Start.php on line 622

Warning: fopen(http://joomlacode.org/gf/project/joomla/frs/?action=FrsReleaseBrowse&frs_package_id=3365 ) [function.fopen]: failed to open stream: no suitable wrapper could be found in /home/xxx/xxx/williamson.one7media/Joomla.Start.php on line 622
Unable to open http://joomlacode.org/gf/project/joomla/frs/?action=FrsReleaseBrowse&frs_package_id=3365 for reading!

I noticed that in the ver.txt, 1.0.15 has an incorrect path to the file.

It should be:

QUOTE:
http://joomlacode.org/gf/download/frsrelease/6828/22538/Joomla_1.0.15-Stable-Full_Package.zip

I changed it, but still get the error.

* I uploaded the full package and tried doing a local install and it works fine. This is fine, but I would like to save even more time by not having to upload the full package locally.

The current issue you have is generated from your site config, you will need to set allow_url_fopen pph.ini variable to Yes in order for the software to be able to automatically download the Joomla packages

OK. Here's my big question. I've seen php.ini mentioned a million times, but I don't know where to find it!

I feel like an idiot because I've been using Joomla for almost a year. Can you explain this to me please?

Thanks in advance!
