JoomlaPlug!

I just signed up for the trial, after installing it on my site I went to Components->clicked on JoomlaCloner and received the following error message:
The encoded file /home/xxx/public_html/support/administrator/components/com_cloner/admin.cloner.php is not permissioned for XX.XXX.XX.XX

Can anyone shed some light on this?

Hi there! if you generated the trial for www.domain.com then you need to access your site backend from that address(www.domain.com/administrator) and not just domain.com/administrator, notice the www. difference

If you still have issues, i suggest you recreate the trial but use your site ip instead of the domain name

Thanks, I did get that issue resolved. Now I have a NEW one.

The backup was amazingly fast and successful. However, it's the restore that I'm having issues with locally.

Locally I'm running apachetriad version 1.4.4 on my laptop, so with the trial I obviously had to install ioncube.

I've tried twice, unsuccessfully to make this work - once with ioncube installed in a folder in the root of the apachetriad folder and then when that didn't work I installed it in an ioncube folder within the htdocs folder.

I have a huge revamping that I need to do to our current Joomla site and would really like to try this out before I buy it.

I've read on this site that the purchased version does not require ioncube, but I would like to know that I really can back up my live site, restore it locally, make changes, and then reupload it before I spend the money.

(Sorry, don't mean to sound so cranky, it's been a long week and this project will consist of merging an existing html site into an existing joomla site and it's just a huge mess!)

To use the trial on your lcoalhost you will need to provide a unique ip of your local server(like the computer ip), not localhost or 127.0.0.1, with that in hand you need to recreate the trial and get the updated restore script! You will also need to access your local server from that unique ip, else you will get permissions errors

No, since the full version is not encoded with ioncube! Ovidiu
