No I think I selected drop tables. Will that do it in the configuration? I did site to site ftp. Must have something set wrong? I'm a newbie to your software but I think I'm going to highly recommend it. Sure beats creating a mysqldump file all the time.

I am not exactly sure at what step you are at, did you manage to launch the Joomla.Cloner.php restore script?

Please check this online manual http://www.joomlaplug.com/files/how_to_use_jcloner.pdf regarding the restore process and let me know if you followed all the steps correctly!

I am not sure what issues you are having, so better open a support ticket and send us these details to check the process:

1. original site Joomla admin details and url
2. ftp+mysql details to the restore location

I don't think that will make a difference, try better unchecking the mysqldump "Active" checkbox in your original site config then recreate the database backup
