JoomlaPlug!

I have fully developed a new joomla website with fireboard forum and virtuemart shop on a fasthosts account.

Our client has now told us that they want to move the hosting to us!

I have setup a new account for them but before I change the nameservers to the new account I would live to transfer the website over and make sure everything works ok.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

any help would be great.

Would I have to install joomla, virtuemart & fireboard on the new hosting and transfer everything over or would the transfer include all the main files?

Will I be able to do this on a temp website address?

Ive created another ftp account to see if there is a problem with the main account.

Of course I still have to use the temp address as the nameservers are not pointed to this account yet.

Yes, you can use a temporary address, when finished and you would like to use the main domain name, you simply need to adjust the mosConfig_live_site variable from your configuration.php file

ive tried using the temp address but it wont work.

because Im using a temp address ive got to use the ip address for the ftp details.

It wont accept the ftp host?
