JoomlaPlug!

I am running my site using wamp, but when I go to JoomlaCloner nothing I type in the config stays. All my other components seem to work. I manually edited the config.php, but it didn't seem to do anything. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Are you using the latest version of JoomlaCloner? If you edit the administratior/component/com_cloner/cloner.config.php file manually, and replace this line

$_CONFIG[clonerPath]=&quot;C:/wamp/www &quot;;

with

$_CONFIG[clonerPath]=&quot;C:/wamp/www/administrator/backups&quot;;

does it has any effect in the backend?

I would suggest you try and reinstall JoomlaCloner on your local host with the latest version and send a screenshot(printscreen image) of the JoomlaCloner Configuration area to get an idea of where you are at!

I downloaded the latest trial, but it needs the ioncube, which I installed, but it still says it needs the ioncube. The full one doesn't need the ioncube, but I don't want to purchase it if it isn't going to work. I am not sure when the JoomlaCloner I have was purchsed, it was left to me by the old IT guy. I purchsed a plugin last week, but it isn't working for me and I am not getting any reply from the developer so I don't want to do the same thing again... although at least I am getting replies her via the post.
