It looks like the content already had these values stored in the database, my presuming is that they were there also on your original site, could you open a ticket and send me your original site Joomla admin details to check!

This problem might be caused also from a mambot, do you have any third party mambots enabled on the site? Ovidiu

The only 3rd party Mambot I have installed is the one for the JCE editor.

not sure if it helps but it seems to be related to the problem you are having there!

Could you try to make again a backup on the original site and then try a new restore on a clean location(no previous files and an empty database)

Ahhhh...that might be it! I originally wrote everything in MS Word and then copied it over into the content in Joomla.

I'll try the procedure to strip out the proprietary info, as stated in the article, then make a new backup as you suggested and restore.

I'll let you know how it goes. And thank you for all your prompt responses and research.
