Cannot clone to remote site 4 Years ago
Hi
I am a new user. I installed JoomlaCloner but couldn't get that to make a backup, installed XCloner which didnt seem to want so much info and created a 230mb backup and completed ok.

Went to use Clone option, completed filling in website url http://www.jamesszubinski.me.uk and all ftp info, checked incremental transfer clicked continue and now the firefox screen has got the hourglass (as if it has hung and waiting for a response)with the tab title just saying loading, the bottom left side of the tab says http://localhost/16/administrator/components/com_xcloner/index2.php#

If I use ftp and look what I can see in my httpdocs/ directory I can see a TAR.php file 60kb and an XCloner.php file 36kb and james1.tar file but this is only 1816kb big.

So it looks like the zip file has hung transferring...

incidentally on the site I also have a httpsdocs directory but I have been told to use httpdocs.

Help please....

george
