JoomlaPlug!

Hi,

I have been running Roundcube for Joomla for a couple of months now and quite happy with it.

I noticed on the site of the Roundcube development team, that they issued a stable release 0.1.1, with some nice features. There was a possibility to upgrade from previous versions. So, I thought I'd go for it. I followed the upgrade instructions for the upgrade from 0.1-RC1 (being the version Joomla presented me).

Unfortunately, it doesn't work.
I get the login page. But after submitting username and password, I get the homepage of my site.

Can anyone help me correct this? I hope I can use the 0.1.1-version.

Using Joomla version 1.0.12.

When we created the first version of Roundcube for Joomla, we had to hack some core Roundcube files to get the package fitted into Joomla as a component, so a simple upgrade won't work!

We are still working on a new version of the component based on the new Roundcube upgrade, however that is not available yet!

I'd also be very interested in such an update. I heard, I think on another thread, that you are only planning to provide a new version as a native Joomla 1.5 version?
Would it still be possible maybe with some manual work to run Roundcube for Joomla on 1.0.x or is there a way to upgrade an existing Roundcube for Joomla manually to the latest roundcube with some effort?

Unfortunately to get the integration done we had to change some core files from Roundcube, so a simple overwrite won't do as upgrade! Anyway, we will check to see if there is a quick solution for the new version upgrade for 1.0.x systems!

So, it is not possible have roundcube running on joomla 1.5.x
