making a backup on a site after moving 5 Months, 2 Weeks ago
|
|
|
I've created a backup and successfully moved my site. Its now a month and many changes later and I'm trying to make a new backup. My original backup was 21.46mb and my new backup is 97.31kb. Obviously I'm doing something wrong. I appreciate if anyone can point me in the right direction. This has happened to me every time that I have backed up and cloned a site.
Thanks for your help.

Hi there! Have you checked the disk space available on server? do you have enough to store a full backup?

I finally got it to work, but I don't understand why. The directions I follow use the manual option. This works for the site prior to moving it. But after moving it, the manual option no longer works, but the auto option does. So, I guess I'm happy, yet confused.
Another confusion I have is that after I move a site I get a double // in my path. This messes up the SEO friendly URLs. But when updated back to / everything works fine.

Hi there! Have you checked the disk space available on the site to see if it's enough to store further backups?
If so, then i suggest you also make these changes in your JoomlaCloner Config:
1. "Manual backup" set to Yes
2. "Backup type" set to TAR
3. both "Active checkboxes unchecked"
