Final part of Clone 3 Years, 10 Months ago
I have gone through the backup and clone process as far as the
XCloner Automatic Restore! page. Unfortunately it is now telling me it cannot read the tgz file and asking if it is in the same directory as xcloner.php.

"Could not continue, unable to read the clone backup file! Please make sure you copied the backup in the same directory as XCloner.php"

It is as it was put there by the clone process

I have checked all permissions. The folders are set to 755 and the scripts are set to 777.

Where am I going wrong?

On the XCloner.php restore screen, there is a drop down select box from where you can select the backup to restore, are you able to select the backup archive from that list?

If you still have issues, i would suggest to open a support ticket and send us your restore location ftp details and url to check!

No I am not able to select the archive from that list. Does that mean the archive failed?

No, the backup archive needs to reside in the same directory as the XCloner.php file and not in administrator/backups

Make sure you are using the latest version of XCloner. if you are trying to import only the database, make sure the "Skip files restore" option is checked
