i followed the video but the restore of a back up did not work.

i checked the back up, hit clone, filled in the info on the clone manager then hit continue, then i see the screen , moving done click to continue. then i am taken to the automatic restore page. i fill all of that in.
then i get an error

could not set permissions

Your backup archive could be corrupt, i would advise recreating the backup archive on your original site, but first set "Manual backup" tp Yes and uncheck both "Active" checkboxes in your JoomlaCloner Config area

i just contacted the owner of the site anyway to see if he still has the files, he had sold the site.
