Hello all,
As the topic indicates, I am here from an extensive search on the net and in the course of equally extensive rapport between myself and the forum admin for the software I'm trying to install.

I actually posted the search topic "Pls adjust the URL so that it points to the location of the package install folder on the web, then click next to retry"
From the result I came across a very similar query by someone about a year ago on this forum and followed through to here, even so much as I saw the admin was online.
I'm trying to determine the correct URL to input as it is the stump btw me and the succesful installation. I'll be glad for any form of help and assistance, knowing fully well how odd it is.

Thanks

Hi there! Could you be more specific on where exactly you are trying to enter the url and what are the errors you are receiving?

Thanks admin,
I've since actually managed to install the program into a folder on my ftp server. The instruction that follows says I should adjust the URL so that it points to the install folder on my web server. This I assume should be my domain name as in "www.MYDOMAIN.com" However, I have to say that the domain name I intend to use already has a page hosted by it. Could this be the reason why I keep getting the same instructions over and over again?
Once again, thank you for your time

On what location are you trying to install Joomla to? If it's your subfolder, then you need to point the url as that folder location, like http://mydomain.com/folder and not just the site root
