Quick question 3 Years, 2 Months ago
Hi all,
I was wondering. Will JCron work on a windows 2003 server running wamp?

Thanks

Yes, it should work if allow_url_fopen php.ini variable is set to ON

Just a reminder, JCron can only work if you have frontend site activity!

Thank you for the quick response. Hmm, for some reason when I click on "manage cron jobs", then click on the job name, it brings me to the main Joomla menu (when you first log in from the back end) and the top menus (Home, Site, Menu, etc.) are greyed out. I have to log out and then back in to be able to do anything. The site was recently moved to a windows server (2003) running wamp from a linux box. It was working fine before the move. Any idea what could have caused this?

Thanks again,
nino

Could you attach here a screenshot of the page with the error? Ovidiu

Here you go. Notice how the main menus are greyed out? I suppose the php error could be causing this issue. Didn't think it was related, but let me know if you think it is.

Thanks again

I would advise reinstalling the JCron component and make sure the component gets properly installed, see if you have anymore issues after
