I think I'm missing something here, but I don't know what. I just installed JoomlaCloner on my website. I filled in all the settings, including the cron page. After saving I went back to the cron page and found my configuration listed - with an "execute cron" link beside it. So I clicked the link. Here is what I got:

Starting /homepages/6/d122126874/htdocs/FontlabBiz/administrator/components/com_cloner/cloner.cron.php
Using configs/DailyBak.php as configuration file
Access Denied for ip 190.33.255.65!

Two questions:
1. Why did I get this and what to do about it.
2. How do I schedule a cron job?

Hi there!

1. The error you get is normal since you are trying to run the cron outside the server, to fix this you can add your denied ip to Allowed ip list in JoomlaCloner Config->Cron tab
2. To schedule a cronjob you need access to a cron manager, a server based one would be best, but you can also try JCron Scheduler

Now about setting up JCron - I'm not clear on how you specify a particular cron job. I've used the default "http://www.fontlab.biz/administrator/components/com_cloner/cloner.cron.php)" in the Command to Run field, but I don't see how it will know to run "Daily Backup" as the cron job.

In the cron edit page there are also some time run settings. you can specify there the time interval where you can run the cronjob!

Yes, but how will it know which cron job to run? Is there only one allowed at a time?

Or maybe I'm misunderstanding. Does the Cron tab in JoomlaCloner have anything at all to do with the cron job set up by JCron?
