Joomla!®Plug

Salut Ovidiu,
My custom Joomla package zipped is 10 megs. I increased the memory to both 128M and 256M, but still not able to start the installation. I believe that by setting the time limit set_time_limit(0) as I currently have, I am allowing the script to run forever.

I also tried with a TAR archive, but I was less successful than with a zip; the script only transferred the archive, but did not extract it. With a zip archive in some instances I am able to start the installer, sometimes if I refresh the browser or sometimes if manually input the url for my installation folder. But they both prevent me to use your "Launch Joomla installation" function.

If you have any other suggestions I would really appreciate it.

Unfortunately i am out of ideas Radu! It would be better to transfer the backup along with the archive to the new location, and choose the package for the existing backups to restore drop down box on the Joomla.Start.php screen, it would save some server time
