Hi,

I have installed JCorn on one of my site. From the Cron Log, it seems the cron job is running fine.But my script is not executing from the Cron job.
PHP Exec() s enabled on my site.
If I run the page directly from the site then it working fine.

Herewith, attached text file contains the JCron log.
Following are the setting of my cron job:

Task type: SSH command
Command to run: testfunction.php
Run at - Every minute, Every hour, Every day, Every month, Every year.
UnixCrontab: * * * * * (Use - uncheck)
Publish: yes
Enabled log: yes

Please let me know what might be the challenge. Do I need to give some permission to my file. Or this is something server related.

I have user same component on other site and it is working fine there.

Please help.

Hi there! Indeed, from the cronlog you attached, it doesn't seem the script is being run as all, what is the cron type and cron command you used? Ovidiu

Do you mean;
Task type: SSH command
Command to run: testfunction.php

I understand cron type here is "SSH command" and Cron command is "testfunction.php" this is the php file I kept at root of my server which contain mail function.

On running this file I send mail on my email ID.
If I run this file directly from browser then I am receiving a mail.

Let me know if I am doing anything wrong.

The command you have there is incomplete, it also needs the php executable in front on it as well as the full server path to that script, like

php /home/.../pathto/.../testfunction.php
