JoomlaPlug!

I've spent several hours trying to use this installer. It refused to work online, I loaded iit to my server, together with a full copy of Joomla, and tried every combination I could - but it still refused to cooperate.

Finally the desktop version came good - and works very well.

I had problems with the Joomla installer thereafter - as it would not move to the License page - I had to manually go to http://.../installation/install.php when the License page then appeared.

Thank you JoomlaPlug - it is a great tool, but in common with many Joomla products - you nmeed someone to write good documentation for fools like me, who is a 'user' not a super-clever developer.

After the automatic install, what was the redirect url you were sent?

The standard Joomla Installation page appeared, but the link to the next page (License) would not work - nor would the Show Again - I'd had to 777 the Mambots/System folder - and it would not refresh after that.

Could you post here a link of where you have the install link?

I used the desktop installer, straight from my computer. It went through the whole procedure but would not open the second page of the Joomla install.

I'll try it again with another site today - and record what happends.
