Questions and Answers
How do I transfer the clone manually?
Usually if the server-to-server ftp connection doesn't work(Clone, Move buttons) for transferring a backup you need to follow this guideline:

1.Manually copy the backup archive into the directory you want to restore it
2.Copy also inside that directory the JoomlaCloner(XCloner) restore script, meaning all files from directory restore/ which reside inside the JoomlaCloner(XCloner) software archive downloaded from our site!
3. After all files are in place, open the browser and launch http://restore_site.com/Joomla.Cloner.php(XCloner.php) and follow the restore process!
How do I restore a clone manually?
If you encounter any slow downs or sudden stops while restoring the clone files, and after you tried both Ftp and Direct mode option for restore, we suggest you open the clone on your computer and copy all the files inside it to your restore location by using a ftp client!
When done, launch the Joomla.Cloner.php script in your browser and check this checkbox "Skip files restore, will attempt to restore only database", this way you will restore the database and configuration, leaving the files intact!
Why is my backup file incomplete or corrupt?
This happens only when the cloning process was stopped by a server error, and the archive couldn't be completed! You should try and increase your php.ini memory_limit, or change this option in your config area to Yes "Backup using Server Functions", for more info read our Requirements page http://www.joomlaplug.com/Tools/JoomlaCloner/JoomlaCloner_Requirements.html
